It's a game where Southern gothic meets African-American folklore presented in stop-motion animation trailer. I am excited to step into the shoes of Hazel and dive right into the world of the macabre.
South of Midnight starts after Hazel's hometown was struck down by a disaster and because of these series of events, she takes up the role of a Weaver or someone who mends broken bonds and spirits. In her journey to find a new home, she will face dangerous creatures and events that will reveal details about her family's past.
There is no schedule yet for the release date of the game but the fantastic trailer surely got the attention of gamers who then promoted it on TikTok and other social media platforms.
South of Midnight will be available for PC and console. All information are gathered from Compulsion Games.
