They are beautiful dogs... Basset Hound By Bonnie van den Born (CC BY-SA 3.0) I both enjoy and get frustrated with charcoal as a medium. I enjoy it because it's so organic to use and I can get thoroughly messy making some art. I get frustrated because it's so messy I end up having to let go of the level of control I really want and let things happen which perhaps I didn't expect. Here's the final picture...
